“The Sower”

Based on 1 Corinthians 9:6, The Sower is a visual parable of choice, consequence, and faith. The painting is split into two striking halves: on one side, a man stands in a field bursting with life, his seed bag emptied, his labor clearly rewarded with a bountiful harvest. On the other side, another man sits in a barren, lifeless field—his seed bag still full, untouched, the ground unbroken.

This contrast reminds us that faithful effort never goes unnoticed by God. The one who sows—though he may not see immediate fruit—plants in trust, believing that God sees every act of obedience and will bring the increase in His perfect timing. The Sower invites reflection on how heaven values even the smallest seeds we plant in faith.
